Howard Johnson Int'l Lax Hotel Los Angeles (CA) Info
Howard Johnson International LAX Hotel is a great value for money choice if arriving or departing in inconvenient hours. The location is just minutes from the airport, but there is a complimentary shuttle provided anyway, and also within easy driving distance of Beverly Hills and the famous beaches. Large and well furnished rooms are very clean and modern, with amenities including cable TV, work desk and private safe. Although being best suited to short or overnight stays, staff treat all guests like old friends and are incredible efficient and welcoming.

Near to the Airport, complimentary breakfast, clean room It was a very enjoyable one night stay at this hotel - and it is now Holiday Inn Express instead of Howard Johnson. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated and the complimentary breakfast was decent. It was a short drive to the airport but I think they also have free shuttle to the airport. Although it was really close to the airport, the airplane sounds did not really bother me - it was pretty quiet. Overall Good place to stay at!!

Everything is new in the room. Need to call for shuttle bus service Everything is new in the room. Price is reasonable. As I was checking at 2am, need to pay around 60 USD for day stay. I hope this could be lower in the future.

Free Shuttle Bus within 10 minutes of LAX. Renovation almost done....significant improvement to facilities. I will use in the future. Renovation ongoing is the only inconvenience. it's okay. By booking through Agoda we have gotten good value for our 2 different stays at this hotel. The hotel is not under the overhead flight path of the landing planes and the rooms are done such that you do not hear outside noise. I will be using Agoda and staying at this hotel everytime I have to have a layover at LAX. I have yet to try their in hotel restaurant.
Hotel Feature Tip : On international arrivals use the phone directory just outside Customs and select on the hotel to have them come in the shuttle bus.
