This hotel was in a good location. Just down the hill from the Disney convention center.
Although the hotel advertised Internet service, there was a fee.
This hotel was located near the center of downtown Los Angeles. The hotel was clean, and well maintained. It had a pull off in front for taxis, and a bus route passes by as well. It was also only about two miles from the Greyhound Bus station. There is no longer a restaurant in the hotel, but there is a nice bar that serves food, as well as a small restaurant that serves breakfast within a block. I will use this hotel again.

Fairly good value if you do not care about old rooms with very little amenities. Close to Little Tokyo restaurants. Easy to get to from LAX via Union Station bus and Dash bus lines around the downtown area. Nice to have a refrigerator and the daytime Grand Central market down the street is perfect for fresh produce and basics.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Very close to the music and performing arts centers, museum and Library. Many wonderful old architectural buildings in the area.

Exit Airport to Sepulveda and follow signs to I-105 East - follow I-105 East to the 110 North - follow 110 North to 9th Street - Exit on 9th and turn left on to Figueroa Street - Follow Figueroa Street to 2nd Street and turn Right into tunnel. - When you exit the tunnel the Kawada Hotel will be across Hill Street. Turn Right on Hill Street - Stop in front of Hotel - Valet will park your car.
