Having recently undergone a 7.5 million dollar renovation process, the rooms and suites at this place are a tremendous value. Conveniently located less than a mile from one of the busiest airports in the world and only five miles from famous Manhattan Beach; the La Quinta LAX hotel makes tourism as well as business convenient. Free wireless internet is available to all guests and parking is free as well. Complementary shuttle to and from the airport is included in the room rate and there are shuttles available to the nearby beaches as well. Consistent with the La Quinta name, this hotel provides affordable comfort that is sometimes difficult to find these days.

Reasonable price, good location, shuttle to LAX
On our return from the South Pacific in need of a place to relax before returning to Wasshington DC and we were happy to find that the La Quinta Hotel was just the placef ro us. The reception staff gave us a friendly greeting. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good.
Travel tip : City tour bus is nearby.

Hotel was clean and tidy and staff friendly, nothing too much trouble.
Main problem only single pain glass on windows, could hear everything outside.
Was looking for something cheap and cheerful and a long transatlantic flight, just to stay the night, before my onward travels. Thats just what it was, rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast was basic, but enjoyable. The downside to this hotel was its glazing. The hotel itself is situated beside the local freeway and not far from one of Los Angeles International's runways. With the result you can hear everything that goes past the hotel at all hours of the day and night.

So convenient to LAX and the shuttle comes to the hotel front door every 30 minutes at no charge - Wow! One of the nicest La Quintas we have visited. Our room was great (very clean and quiet), breakfast was yummy, more than the average continental.
Actually, we can't think of any cons. Everything was wonderful, especially the clerks, who were very kind and helpful. There isn't much site-seeing within walking distance of the hotel, but that was a plus to us because it was quiet.
You won't waste your money at this La Quinta. It was worth every penny we spent. After flying in from Fiji, we needed a rest. We got it... the beds were very comfortable. The room was large and nicely furnished with a frig, microwave and sofa. Check out wasn't until noon, so we really had a chance to sleep off the jet lag. Breakfast was more than the average continental with yogurt, waffles, eggs, etc. The clerks were great and the best feature was the LAX shuttle which came every 30 minutes to the hotel entrance - and it was FREE! Wow!
