we wanted a hotel close to lax. the radisson is the closest. when you drive up, there is valet parking. the rooms are comfortable and spacious. we had one night before flying out, so the free shuttle was nice to have. we would definitely stay there again.

This is the worst hotel near LAX I have stayed in. They overcharged me, even with my reservation. The food was awful, and I had to wait over an hot for the airport shuttle. After waiting so long, I asked what the problem was. They told me to wait by the wrong door. The staff was very unfriendly. The TV did not work. So many other problems too,

For the most part I was very pleased with the entire hotel experience. I had just returned from a year of teaching in rural China so was quiet pleased when I was given a free upgrade to a junior suite which was really the equivalent to a 2 bedroom apartment with a large living room and refrigerator.
The buffet breakfast was wonderful though around $18.00, and mine included smoked salmon, turkey and other deli meats, sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, coke, coffee, juice, fruit and more...Awesome American food after a long time in rural China and by any other standards. Lobby bar is nice, bar and restraunt even nicer, and prices were high, though maybe not so much for LA.
Travel tip:
Out of the hotel and turn right on the first road and about 10 minutes walking to a couple of restraunts, radio shack, Fantastic Sams, pizza Hut and one kinda redneck sports bar that is loud and busy...Also a massage parlour and a couple of car rentals in that area. You will also find a large supermaket there where great food and wine and other acohols can be purchased and brought back to the room for the more money concious traveler.
