Nice location
The hotel is near to the Metro station, and convenient to the Walk of fame. Clean room, and comfortable bed. And free wi-fi.

it was a 2 days stop over from texas to malaysia so for a one night hotel it was ok but not travelling in a family. budget but no so budget hotel i guess cos the price is expensive for a motel.

Very noisy when people walk along the corridor, disturbing sleep. Also the swimming pool was not opened for quest.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
5mins walk to Metro station Hollywood Western, 3 stops reach Hollywood with lots of amusement and shopping, walk if fame, wax museum, shopping center. Also you can rent cars at the hotel or at the Hollywood station.

The staff at the Dixie hotel were very friendly but accidently mixed up our rooms. Thus it meant we accidently tried t get into someone elses room in the very early morning. this was a surprise for both customers. We were able to sort it out and apologies to the other client but I do think a note in our room, if we were unable to be contacted with the change in the second room would have been warranted. All turned out ok, it was a small hiccup. The friendliness of the staff helped with our concerns nicely. The Beds were quie noisey but comfortable & the position of the Hotel was good for the Hollywood area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The staff were very good helping us with directions & taxis. The area was close to Hollywood area but we still required a taxi. The accommodation was clean but older style.
