Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Clean & spacious room
Starbucks coffee brewed
Friendly staff at the front desk
Good rate
Noisy room
Vallet parking only, but at an ok price
We stayed two nights in this hotel as the start of our honeymoon. The room was clean and spacious and during check-in, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was at the front side of the building at the busy Wilshire Blvd and hence pretty noisy. Double glass in the windows would have helped. If you are a Starbucks fan, their coffee is brewed in the hotel (although Starbucks places are only a couple of blocks away). After all, with the rate we paid, a good prive-value ratio!
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for a non-streetside room.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, good coffee in lobby
Though the hotel was reasonably priced and comfortable, it is not in a convenient location unless you have business in the Korean part of town. There is not a lot going around the hotel which is located on a busy stretch of road. The room we were allocated faced onto the road and was very noisy but the hotel staff kindly moved us to a quieter room facing away from the road. Although the staff perdomed well, we would probably choose a different location next time we're in LA.
Restaurant Tip : Good Japanese restaurant in the arcade opposite the hotel but otherwise not much around there.

This hotels pluses are it's location and it price. Location and then Price were the major reasons we went with this hotel. My son lives in the area and it made sense from that standpoint.
This hotel is in need of an upgrade. Its decor and furnishings I'm sure was at one time considered to be mainstream but not anymore. Now that said, if they upgrade the hotel I'm sure they will want more money- so there's a ying and yang. Parking is going to cost you.
We were frankly a little concerned with choosing this hotel due to the reviews which to be seemed all over the place but it was clear that the main issue was the upkeep of the facility. Frankly we were ok with the hotel. We wanted a place in Korea Town and didn't want to spend a fortune for it and finding a good price through Agoda made it a win/win. Yes this place needs to be upgraded- its decor and furnishings are about 20 years in the past. However our room on the 10th floor facing the Hollywood sign was clean and satisfactory. I didn't cringe in the bathroom. The people at the front desk and the valet were pleasant enough. Its possible to find on street parking if you are willing to drive around a lot and do some walking- I wasn't so I just figured the $20 a day in the room price. The area is like a downtown and we noticed a lot of eating places right on Wilshire. Overall we were fine with the facility especially for the price. I would imagine that they are going to try to keep the furnishings as they are for as long as they can get a away with it.
