417 art-deco styled rooms adorn the interior of this massive structure right on the beach with great access to all the fun of Miami Beach. All the shopping and dining that has made the area famous is available nearby including the excellent and top-rated Indian food of Ocean Drive Fusion. Guests can walk straight out the door past the elaborate swimming pool area to the crystal clear waters that this sea is so famous for. For an interesting and entertaining tour of the entire area, head down the road to Duck Head Tours but be sure to ignore the touts standing outside the entrance offering �free� tours as they are most likely operators of timeshare �scams.� If staying at a full-service semi-luxurious establishment in a wonderful location right on the beach is a priority, it is tough to beat Royal Palm Crowne Plaza Hotel.

On south beach, 2 pools, free wireless internet
Not very attractive looking rooms, horrible service, an additiona SUPRISE resort fee, everything is expensive and the sheets and towels were all stained.
I thought the hotel was nothing compared to its next for LOWES hotel. The front desk staff was uniformed, there was never anyone to get me clean towels and the hotel was so boring. Its on the beach though for easy access to Ocean drive and all the local night clubs and what not.

Easy checkin, great water pressure, nice location
cleanliness, shower curtain too short (water went everywhere), overpriced,
This hotel has a great location, but it was way overpriced for the services received. The wireless internet did not work, the gym facilities were sub-standard, and the rooms were not as clean as they should be for the price paid for them.
Hotel Feature Tip : book through agoda, not the hotel directly.
