on the beach, big rooms available, near lincoln road
dirty, totally missing common amenities, poor house cleaning, bad beds
we had a great stay here during spring break and we're happy that we picked the hotel. it was convenient to the beach and restaurants and clubs. the hotel is definitely two star and you aren't going to get the bare minimum in amenities. there were no tissues, no coffee maker, etc. but its a great crowd of young people who stay there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the beach is right there!

There weren't any thing I liked about the hotel
Invest on bigger beds, and paint job for the whole hotel
My stay at the continental hotel was very, very unpleasant. It took 30 min just for room service. The wall in the room had chip paint, and cracks on it. the bath room is horrible, the floors look like it have not been mopped, chipped paintaround the doors and tubs. The hotel ran out of towels and then I had to wait for housekeeping to get back with the keys so they can get more towels. They don't give out extra pillows either. and the air did not work in my room. to sum it up I will not refer my worst enemy their.

The hotel stay was under our expectations, because they charge US$ 50.00 just to check in at 11:00 PM, while others hotels start the check in at 12:00 PM and this hotel start at 4:00 PM. The clean service is not sufficient. the breakfast is so expensive, just for a toast, coffee and orange juice (US$ 5.00). So our stay was not as pleasant as imagined. Although the hotel location is good, but the service in general is so bad.

The hotel was very ratty. It was not updated and not very clean. The pool closed at a ridiculous hour, I think around 6:00 pm. There were no cups provided and the front desk said they didn't provide them. There was an ice machine that didn't work and strangely we were provided an ice bucket. Since there were no cups this was presumably to assist with cooling the room. \n\nThere is no parking but the hotel will valet park your car illegally in a fire zone for $30. \n\nIt you have no pride this is a basic place to stay cheaply. I would rate this hotel a couple steps below Motel 6.
Nightlife Tip : This hotel is a short walk to great shopping, dining, and clubs in South Beach.

only 8 channels on tv, abc was in spanish
Good value in a good location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was available on the street right by the hotel as well as in parking garage around the corner. Only two blocks from the new fillmore theatre which has concerts. A block from the beach in the heart of south beach. The room was nice, clean and large and came with a microwave and fridge. Overall a good value for the money.

This hotel was ok it was just what I needed since all I did was sleep and have breakfast. however the little time I spend there i think the bar can be open the pool bar/restaurant should be open so guess don't have to leave the hotel in order to eat if you want to much you should have the capability to order somthing Idont mean just eggs and toast since that's all they have there

Even though the The Continental Oceanfront have old installations, ther made ther best efforts to provide a nice customer service. The hotel´s site is excellent, as well as the pool.
They should improve their facilities, mainly at the dinig room, improving their furnitures and providing better food/breakfast service.
The parking facilities were poor and very expensive.
Nightlife Tip : Nice Shopping and restaurants sorrounding the hotel . Plenty of tansportation facilities.

The location could not be beat. Literally next door to The Shore Club for a fifth of the price.
However there was mold in the bathroom and the
noise level in my room ( facing ocean drive) made it hard to sleep. The hotel is in need of an overhaul as the rooms and lobby re very outdated.
If you need a place to stay close to the best hotels n south beach but cannot afford them, tis is your place.

It was an awful experience. It started with a room where the air conditionning was not working. No mini bar, and smell like an old building. No one answered the phone nor tranferred the call to the room. I will never go back to that hotel. Very noisy at the lobby. Too crowdy in room viewing the Collins ave.

2 nights while I was staying, I had no change of towels, I do not know if this has to do with the maid who usually move me in another hotel of a higher grade in orlando, that change and room cleaning is done every 2 days, not like in other places that I had the opportunity to visit it every day cleaning the room and change towels.
