Recently renovated (2004,) Dorset Hotel�s boutique art deco styled rooms on fashionable Collins road is a great find in Miami Beach. Excellent shopping as well as a myriad of dining from tie-requiring high-class restaurants to sidewalk cafes are just steps from the front door as is the world-famous nightlife of South Beach. Nearby Duck Tours is a great and entertaining way to get a tour of the surrounding area in intimate detail but be careful of the people near the establishment giving away �free� tour tickets as they are representatives for timeshare scams. After the renovations, this lower-priced establishment is not quite possibly the best value on the beach.
