InterContinental Hotel, Miami (FL)

The Hotel Intercontinental Miami is a world class hotel in the heart of Miami, FL. Across the water from the Port of Miami, the rooms have a view of Key Biscayne, Virginia Key, Dodge and Fisher Islands, and Biscayne Bay. Next door to the hotel is a large marina and outdoor mall with good restaurants and shops. The American Airlines arena is within walking distance. The bar is very nice, but pricey. The rooms are perfect - large, with new furniture. Bathrooms are huge and have nice amenities. Water pressure and sink drain were both disappointing, but not an issue. We recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an elegant first class hotel in Miami.

really nice rooms, beautiful views over downtown Miami, superb breakfast, not too expensive, easy to get to and centrally located. Although centrally located, the direct area is a bit boring (things are much more happening at South Beach). Main "con" is parking though. When we arrived we were told valet parking is the only option (we paid the full day tariff of $34 to park from midnight to 10am!), and when we investigated ourselves there were metered parking spaces just next to the hotel! Metered tariff was about a dollar an hour from 7am till 2am. Biggest problem there was that the meters didn’t allow you to pay the evening before for the next morning so you have to get out early to fill the meter. But worth the $25-30 you save every night! So overall, hotel was nice, but parking was poor, which isn’t something you’d expect for such a car oriented country …

The hotel was very nice and pretty. It was walking distance from Ultra Music Festival (the reason for our stay). The staff is very nice, and the hotel seemed to be in excellent conditions. We ordered room services a couple of times, and while the food was delicious, it is costly. I really have no complaints regarding the hotel, and I would stay there again.

This is my second stay at the Miami Intercontinental Downtown, and once again, it was such a great pleasure to stay there. Everyone on the staff is extremely gracious, and goes out of their way to accommodate any requests and be available to guests, often going the extra mile to be of service. My one and only complaint is the daily fee for wireless internet usage in the rooms, which I think, considering the price of the rooms, should be free of charge. Other than that however, I love this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

Very good, good location & good for public transportation.

We were very happy with this hotel. It was within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants on the harbor and in a central downtown location. We were on the harbor side and could see the harbor and the cruise terminal and the ship we were boarding the next day. The hotel was immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful. There was a nice pool area on the fifth floor with a bar. We only had minor issues: a long wait to check in and no clear waiting line, just several guests waiting in a group; also, the water pressure in the shower was a little low.

This hotel provides very reasonable and ideally located acommodation. i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Upon check in, I requested a room that would have a view of the cruise pier so that we could see our ship in the morning and also enjoy the water view. I was not sure that they would accomodate my request since I did not book the hotel through them, but rather through Agoda at a significant savings. They responded with a "no problem" attitude and we were viewing the water from the 16th floor of our hotel.

We booked the hotel as Nachprogramm a cruise. Since we had chosen as the opening act for a hotel in Miami SoBe, this time we wanted a hotel in Miami Downtown. The hotel is in good condition. In age, I can not say anything. Everything is very clean and maintained. We had booked a standard room. The reception staff was very knowledgeable and the check-in and check out was a breeze without complications. The hotel features a built-in Starbucks coffee shop, who wants it. We've had breakfast at the Bayside Marketplace, a great place for shopping and nightlife. Our room was equipped with everything you need. Furthermore, it was a good size and it was even allowed to smoke, ok who needs it. There are also non-smoking. There was a mini-bar, coffee maker, hair dryer, television, individual climate control, bathrobes, irons and really great care sets. We had two huge beds. The hotel has a lovely spa area, which we unfortunately could not take advantage because we had little time. Berfindet The pool on the roof of an adjoining annexe with spectacular views over the water and the Port of Miami (The part where the cruise ships are available) taxis were received quickly. They stood nearby and were herangewunken from the friendly staff. The journey time to the MIA airport is 20-25 minutes to the harbor about 10 minutes depending on traffic. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel and would book it again at any time. We were very pleased with Agoda. This has worked great. We had you not previously known, and we thought we try it just once. is wrong angle. Thank you for that.
