The traditional oceanfront Waldorf Towers has a 65 year history of entertaining Miami’s visitors. Designed by architect Albert Anis in 1937, the property has been fully restored to its original Art Deco heritage. All 41 rooms blend history and modernity in South Beach style and are fitted with wood floors and art deco furniture as well as the most modern amenities for the discerning contemporary visitor. Its prime location, within walking distance of all the shopping, dining and nightlife South Beach and Lincoln Road is world famous for, makes it one hot property. Add the on-site facilities like the Prime Time Café, located in the Waldorf's lobby, where guests dine on a variety of specialties, including old-fashion Belgian waffles or Absolute vodka Maine lobster ravioli, while overlooking the beach, and the Compass Market gourmet deli situated on the hotel's lower level, offering a variety of international deli items as well as souvenirs, beach items and a large selection of liquor, and you’ll understand why this is a quintessential favorite of South Beach.

Right in the middle of the action !

Stayed for a few nights and booked a deluxe room as they are on the higher floors (there are only 3!), mix up with booking so they upgraded us to a junior suite overlooking the ocean, lovely.
Ana the receptionist made us very welcome and offered us a champagne and fresh orange juice as a welcome. She was very helpful over the few days, nothing was a bother.
The beds in the junior suite are to die for, soooo comfortable - we didnt want to get up !
Only place to eat and drink there is outside along the pavement, nice restaurant but the drinks are a bit steep, the small breakfast at $4.99 is good and good value. They usually also have a lunch deal for $8.99.
Double glazing makes sure it is not too noisy inside, if you want a nice hotel among the action - this fits the bill.

Great location and very friendly
Excellent location on the ocean front and in the centre of all the restaurants and bars.
9.3
stayed here for 4 nights in july 2012. great location. directly in front of the ocean and close to all attractions. very modern hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. in the centre of all the nightlife. vey good value for money. the only negative aspects were the noise of the cleaning staff early in the morning constantly slamming the metal doorway to the stairwell and the fact that we were located in a room next to the alleyway with no possibility to open a window or see out thru the frosted glass so that was a bit claustrophobic. however, if you can stay on any of the upper floors then i would highly recommend this hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Restaurants on the main street where the hotel is located can be a bit expensive. Go to Espanola Way which is 10 minutes walk and has some beautiful little restaurants at very good value.
