The location of the hotel is great: in a safe neighborhood within close proximity of stores and restaurants, and on the beach with a jogging path alongside. The maids were not the best. We had to ask for towels a few times, and the room was not tended to after 4 PM. Perhaps housekeeping was short-staffed ? The pool is rather large, with plenty of lounge chairs surrounding it. Unfortunately the sun is blocked by the high rises in the early afternoon. We have stayed at this hotel three times, each one arriving before check-in time, and were allowed to check-in early, and even given an upgraded room twice! All hotel staff are somewhat to very friendly and helpful.
Restaurant Tip : There are tons of great restaurants within a short walking distance a few blocks north of the hotel, on Collins.

Location, price, room, view I stay April 10 to 13th, the weekend with my family at Casablanca hotel and we got a nice doble room with a view to the beach. It was gorgeous. The location of the hotel for the price was wonderful. The room has doble bed wich were very comfy the complete kitchenette with al the kitchen necessities, a small round table with 2 chairs. The bathroom was o.k. but could be better. The closet was big enought.
The hotel has his own security, valet parking. The people in the hotel are nice and try to make your stay enojoyable. Everyday they clean the room and change pool and bath towels. My family and me had a great stay, we probably stay againg. Hope this help to you.
Shopping Tip : There is a publix near the hotel so you buy you grocieres if you need any. Enjoy!

Nice pool, easy beach access, comfortable lobby No wi-fi in room, soap/shampoo dispenser instead of individual bottles I stayed two nights in a double room. The shower didn't drain the first day, but maintenance fixed it very quickly. Kitchen area was nice--had dishes, pots, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stove, sink, and refrigerator. Huge closet. I had no issues with language barriers and found the staff very helpful. A few previous reviews talked about an abundance of cats in the pool area--I saw a couple, but they were outside the property's gate. Overall, great stay and no complaints!
Restaurant Tip : There is a Publix about a half mile north, and just a little bit past that are a number of local restaurants as well as an IHOP, Pizza Hut, Subway, and McDonald's.

I like the hotel very much, its is situated in a great place, near everything..the room was pretty clean and comfortable..we really enjoyed our stay there and i would choose it again if i had the opportunity to travel .. wireless at the lobby was pretty bad, it was nearly imposible to connect to internet, it was a weak connection... i would choose it again if i had the opportunity to travel to Miami..i could sleep very well there, we had a kitchen to cook ourselves and everything that we need. I recommend this hotel in spite of the problem with internet.

the pool and the private access to the beach. staff was friendly. my room was nice. the walls and doors are paper thin!!!you can hear through every word from the next room as well as outside!! alarm clock was missing as well as there was no lamp by the bed! my room was pretty nice, but my friends room was old (make sure it's a renevated.)overall i had a good experiece the pool was gr8 and btw there is a synagogue on premises! there is a fee for parking! but its valet so very convenient.
Nightlife Tip : there is a magic comedy show close by. every saturday night @ 8pm in the deauville resort (theatre) on 67th and collins. tickets r cheap fun for kids too.

Near the beach. Good quality. The hotel was being refurnish, repainted, so there was tooo noisily during week days. The room was OK, with a nice view to the sea, even I reserved a city view room. The location on the beach is excellent, and you can get a bus-stop nearby to get to the Miami International Airport. The hotel features written shuttle to the Airport, but is not true, and I send 2 mails to confirm price, and I had no answer. I had to phone to get an answer. The price of parking of $ 16.- a day is too expensive. Weekend you can park the car for free, near the Hotel.
Restaurant Tip : There are some restaurants nearby at good prices.

The location of the hotel is close to the beach. The room that I have received was a bit rickety and old. Maybe there are better rooms, but certainly not. Well located, exit to the beach, good service, good care of the staff, well equipped kitchen, very well maintained building. It has three large elevators. The service part is not fixed schedule. No internet in room, no cable or wireless, the service charge should not "mandatory" in a safe in the room U $ S 2 more tax could be included in rate.
