This was a hotel my mother recommended to me, but I'm not sure why. There is nothing spectacular about this hotel, the lobby is nice but nothing extraordinary. There is no bellhop, so when we had to change rooms 3 times, (once b/c it was someone else's room, another b/c the noise from Bourbon street was so loud we couldn't sleep) we had to carry our own luggage all over the hotel. I noticed stain on the bedspread, as well as stained bath towels. The staff was always friendly however, and they have a checkout feature on the TV which is nice. A decent hotel, but they have recently changed names to Chateau Bourbon, so the ownership might have changed as well. Definitely could use improvement on the quality of service they provide.
Nice lobby, friendly staff, location.
No bellhop, dingy towels and bed linens, noise level from Bourbon street in some of the rooms.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance to just about anything in the quarter. I enjoyed the haunted mansion tour. Bring your walking shoes!
