Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Very clean lobby, the room was big and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
had a bit of a stale smell, but they said the power had been off for 2 days due to a storm.
This was my first stay in New Orleans. I wasn't prepared for the crazy atmosphere. I just needed to stay the one night, in order to leave for a cruise the next morning. I have to say that I will never visit the city again. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. They even helped me carry my bags to my room. It was a nice quiet sanctuary away from the crazy nuts in the streets. There is always a taxi waiting outside too, which was very convienient for me. I would definatly recommend this hotel, due to it's courteous staff, and cleanliness.
Hotel Feature Tip : They have a shuttle service as well, but I didn't have a chance to take advantage of it, because I left quite early for my cruise the next morning.

The service was great! The people were very helpful and friendly. Even the lady who had a trainee badge was very informative. The double room on the 19th floor was a nice size. Free internet service worked with no hiccups.
Cleanliness- a friend of mine checked out after looking at his room. There was trash debris in the bathroom. Hair strands and plastic wrap on the floor, and more hair in the tub.
Overall it was good value for the price I paid. While a friend checked out, I did not think it was that bad. The internet connection was great and easy to set up. The location was good too, not too far from Canal street. Pretty much most of my destinations were within walking distance. The lobby can get a little congested around check out time. But the service staff was very accomodating and very helpful. Even when there were mixups with guests they resolved things very nicely. Overall I would give the hotel a C+.

great location; room good sized
There aren't enough elevators. Checking out was a nightmare, stopping on every floor with a full elevator. Also, if you have a room on the 19th or 20th floor as I did, you have to go to the 18th floor and then take another eleveator!
Also, there wasn't enought hot water one morning
The Holiday Inn French Quarter was a disappointing experience. Although the location is good, there weren't enough desk people there to check you in or out. Also, they need more elevators, very slow going up and down. The rooms are old and run down, although clean. When the hot water wasn't working one morning, the engineer was prompt to arrive, but there wasn't much water even then. There are better hotels in the french quarter and downtown with the same good location, but better service and quality.
Restaurant Tip : There is a great steakhouse next to the hotel called Dickie Brennan's. Best steak I have ever had!
