Location , price, internet, nice service, employees.
Extra fees, not clean, sporadic service, uninformed staff.
When you check out, you will have an extra fee of $7.95 per day for phone, internet and safe whether or not you use those. Room not really clean, empty bottles and trash under bed, blankets likely not washed, missing or broken items (i.e., coffee pot, toilet paper, towels, soap. Sporadic service, uninformed staff - they didn't know how internet worked and I had to be in the hall to get solid internet connection. There are a lot of things that would upset many people. I chose to take it in stride and remember that I was really getting a pretty cheap hotel in a good location (although it does merit a brisk walk if you are coming back late night –but then again anywhere in the quarter probably does). Btw, the internet is called pelhamnet and the other connections will charge you.
Travel tip : There are great local food places (not white cloth joints). Check out YYo Ma Ma's Bar & Grill for the best burger in town. Check out Coops for a great authentic local meal.
