Clean, comfortable, convenient
Location, cleanliness, views
6.7
It was fine, clean and comfortable room with great TV, although it had a kitchenette - there was no where to sit and eat. No extra toiletries were provided ie. cotton buds. The desk was too large for the room and paying extra for wi-fi and internet in room was disappointing in these times. We didn't feel that it was value for money although it was a good location and clean.

The stay was great. Nice location. This hotel has fully equiped kitchen. I have 15 months old baby, so it's really hard for me to go out for dinner at nit time. We cooked some foods in kitchen.

Great room Excellent Location
Excellent location, Friendly Staff, Kitchen in room
8.3
The room was huge, compared to other hotels in the city. Our room also had a kitchen which can be very useful if you're gonna be staying in New York for long.
The location is excellent considering you can walk to the Empire state building, Times Square, Macys.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful.
I will definitely be staying here on my next trip too.

Small kitchen, but no dining table. : ( That made the kitchen useless.
Shopping Tip:
10 min walk from Macy´s on 34th Street. A taxi is preferred to get to Times Square. Victoria´s Secrets largest NY store is located opposite of Macy´s. Only a few blocks from AMC Cinema Theaters.

Big rooms in good location
6.3
The room we had was a suite for a very reasonable price. The rooms were huge, not just by NYC standards. The location is great. 1/2 mile from Grand Central. A few negatives. The hotel could use an update, the bathroom really had no space to put stuff, and there is a hospital very close so we heard a lot of ambulance sirens. Overall, good value for the price.

Great Location -- good sized rooms

Fine hotel. The only slight drawback was the fitness center. The towels were hard to find and there was no one there to help. Other than that, the hotel was well located, clean and the staff were just fine. Not sure what else to say, it's a perfectly reasonable hotel in a very expensive market.

Excellent hotel.
Location, helpful and friendly staff, excellent standard of accommodation.
9.3
We spent a lot of time on the internet trying to track down a hotel with a kitchenette, good location and good value for money. We certainly found one in the end: the Affinia Dumont met all our requirements and we cannot fault it in any way. We would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Restaurant Tip:
"The Barking Dog" restaurant next door was not only super-convenient but good value as well.
