A good clean hotel in a great location, very central for all tourist attractions. Elevators very busy, especially in the mornings. This is the second time we have visited this hotel as tourists, and will be back next year! Hotel very central, close to all amenities, rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful when we arrived before check-in time and they arranged an early entry to room. Good value for money in NYC.
Restaurant Tip : We had a good breakfast in Scotty's on Lexington Ave, and just across the road from Scotty's, had a great meal in the small Thai restaurant

Lack of hot water Really enjoyed our stay here. We were upgraded to a tower suite on the top floor. We could see the empire state from the window. It is an older hotel but it is kept clean. One morning there was no hot water, but that was only one of 5 mornings. Overall I think it is good value and would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the boat tour around Manhattan. It's a bit of a walk from the hotel to the pier, but a good way to burn off a big breakfast. It's a great way to get a different perspective of the city.

The situation is very good, quiet but near the center and large central station (where trains to the airport and subway), value for money is very good, clean, is ancient, with carpeting on the floor The situation is very good, quiet but near the center and large central station (where trains to the airport and subway), value for money is very good, clean, the bathrooms are right, very good shower pressure and temperature perfect, the room has a refrigerator, television with cable channels. Probably the only drawback is that the hotel is a bit old, especially the rooms with carpet on the floor and devoración 20 years ago.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : very near Crysler and empire building with spectacular views of the city. 5 min is the 5th Avenue, with multidud Store. Nearby are a couple of clubs to go for a drink and some restaurants with a certain charm (though a little expensive).
