Great location, in the middle of time square. Nice friendly staff, and the rooms although small were not tiny. Great thai restaurant on the same block as hotel. Love the breafast. The bathroom had a few faults and was kind of small The hotel is in the middle of time square and has a beautiful look and feel to it. It's a good bargain for NYC and it has a lot of character. There is a bar down in the lobby, and breafast in the morning I would recommend. The staff is very friendly and I would love to come back.

Building works, hidden charges, cold Ok, the location was awesome. Just off of Time Square. Building work is going on downstairs which you are not told about before hand. Also the rooms are very cold as apparently you cannot have the heating on in NY until the end of October. Ridiculous. Also, we did not know that the price of the room after the 1st night was different. Room was nice though, however very small.

Nicely refurnished rooms and great location
The reception area was a building site and quite a nuisance, also the staff at the check in desk were not too helpful. Location wise this hotel is great if you want to appreciate the Broadway shows and the buzz of Times Square. Sadly the reception area and some other bits were being refurbished or rebuilt while there and other services, like on the floor vending facilities were not working.
