Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Very Good
Very clean, good size room, location
7.7
Stay was very good with no complaints, just one minor flaw, bar prices quite high which prevented a night cap.

Staff were always willing to help. Turn down service always had the next days weather and chocolates waiting for us. Complimentary coffee in the morning on your way out and hot apple cider in the evenings when you return in winter.

Boutique Hotel, Great Location
Complimentary coffee in the morning and complimentary spiced apple cider in the afternoon/evening/night
9.3
the location was excellent. it is just a few blocks away from times square and there is a subway entrance within the same block. it is also right next to the port authority bus station, for those who want to take the bus.
the service staff were friendly and helpful. need any advice on where to go, where to eat, what to do? just ask the front desk and they are more than happy to give you some local tips.
rooms could be a bit small for 2 luggages, since my partner and i were on a long trip, so we couldn't save on the luggage space. but the room was cosy and furnishings were new. the room and toilet was clean.

Great service, clean and neat rooms
Free Hot Apple Cider and Coffee at reception

New, quiet and clean rooms. Smaller than expected, but it is New York after all. The room sounded large compared to where my colleagues stayed for work.
Friendly service.

Great Service and Attitude!
Clean, safe hotel with awesome service.
8.3
Although the rooms are a tad small and the hotel is located directly across from Port Authority, once you step in this fantastic boutique hotel, the attention to detail and service is noteworthy. Made it easy to check in and out. Two short number street blocks to Time Square and subway to virtually anywhere. Bed was comfortable and heard no street noise at all from the 27th floor.
Restaurant Tip:
Two Bortehrs pizza on 40th and 9th avenue has decent pizza for $1/slice. The best in NY? No but at a buck for a huge slice, $1.50 for mushroom, it is well worth it!

my husband & i stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, the location is great, super close to pretty much everything! the rooms are small (which we noticed even more having arrived after 3 days in washington in a huge room with two queen beds to ourselves) however, they are incredibly clean and really do have everything you could need for your stay - after all, its new york, who spends their stay in the hotel!
the main reception was always manned and the staff were very helpful, they have computers in the lobby should you need to print anything off eg, boarding cards or trip confirmations and there is free wifi for guests - a great feature which seems hard to come by in new york hotels. you also need to swipe your room key to be able to use the elevator & can only access your own floor, which i think was a good feature it made the hotel feel very secure.
the hotel also provide guide books and maps in your room on arrival.
we choose not to eat at the hotel itself given that there is so much choice in the surrounding area, however, we had friends staying in the same hotel at the same time who said the breakfast was nice enough, quite standard for most hotels.
our only quibble about the hotel is the air conditioning unit, the room did get very warm and whilst the air con was great for coolness, it was occasionally very noisy and the metal casing rattled every now and again waking us up in night! we spoke to reception and there did send an engineer up to look at it but it didn't seem to improve.
Restaurant Tip:
take a walk up 9th ave (to the left of the hotel as you come out & then right heading up town), its quieter than heading right which takes you to times square and there are loads of nice little restaurants. also try guys american for the tequila lime chicken salad & cheesecake (its in the guide book provided in the room too) & bill's burgers (near rockefeller), great food & reasonably priced (well, reasonable for ny!)
