The hotel was excellent for our purposes. The only disappointment was a failure to replenish some of the amenities in our room. We had to ask for more soap and toilet paper.

great neat hotel so close to everything .... we caught the bus to the airport which was only , and it was just two blocks from the hotel! not too far.... love and will stay here again!

It is a good hotel, rooms are decent and clean.
It is honestly perfect for the money and the location.
Free WIFI is good, not too fast, but acceptable.
Rooms have flat screens with HDMI inputs which is fantastic.
If you need somewhere to stay and want to be near Times Square, stay here, they are friendly and accommodating.

Great location, small rooms, very expensive

As a solo international traveler, despite the high cost of the rooms, I was shunted into a small room at the rear of the building with little light and no view to the outside. I had booked a 'luxury room' and this must have been one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in.
The bed was comfortable, TV worked (no cable) there was no kettle but a coffee maker, location was great, staff are well trained and courteous. The buffet breakfast was poor and much easier to slip around the corner to the diner (and cheaper).
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are planning to stay at the Dylan hotel, ask for a room on the front of the building and don't be afraid to ask to move if the room is too small. This hotel has potential if priced better.

Very good locations, but poor view

We stayed in room 605 at the 6th floor. The room was of good size as well as the bathroom and had all necessesary amenities. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom large enough, but with a shower and no bathtub.
Althouth the room was clean, it starts to get a bit old and some details were starting to be a bit worn out (carpet, fabric around the bed).
The negative thing is that the room had no view as there was another building in front of us and therefore it is always dark and one cannot see the sky. Also, it was pretty noisy as we were right on top of the air conditioning.
We should have asked for a room with a view on the street.
We did not try the restaurant neither the spa or any treatment.

Great location, but hotel is a bit run down

The location of the hotel is great, right where the NYC Airporter is dropping off the passengers, close to subway, walk-able distance from the main attractions (Broadway, Empire State Building, etc...). The hotel is a bit run down though, the lift needs a bit of work, the staffs needs to be a bit more friendlier: I was waiting for the lift to go to my room after check-in, the lift door opens, and there was a staff moving a couple of chairs to somewhere else. No apologies were given, he just left the door close without saying anything. I found that a bit rude.
