Overall the hotel was ok. Room service was absolutely shocking though. once our order never even showed up showed up so we went to bed. They charge 12.95 if you want wifi in your room but it's free in the communal areas. We have been traveling for over 6 weeks straight now and that's the first time that's ever happened. I understand it's new York city but I think if you are willing to stretch the budget a tiny bit more (even 20 a night) you could do alot better in the area. If you're happy with a cheapy, empire can absolutley offer you what you need. The girls at the desk were lovely. Bar staff rude!
