the room was so small that we could barely open our suitcases. We had to change rooms twice. The floor level smelled like cigerettes even though we had specifically asked for a non smoking floor.

Beautiful Hotel with very helpful and cheery staff

The Empire Hotel was a great hotel. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be returning.
The hotel was beautiful, located near major NY attractions. I can't rave enough about the staff, so kind and helpful. The room was really nice a little small but we had 2 adults one teen and a young child.

Great hotel and location. I stay here every time I am in New York. The rooms are lovely and the staff are extremely polite and friendly. The hotel is always very clean and breakfast is lovely.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in New York for either business or pleasure.
