The view from the window in room is very good. Because the Excelsior Hotel's location is in front of the museum park. And it is quiet, so I could get good sleep. I think the bed position is too high. location, professional but unpretentious staff, cleanliness, we got a suite upgrade at no additional charge, This was a delightful find in quiet neighborhood compared to the rush of midtown, near Zabars, Museum of National History, and the Park
