It was a pleasant stay, wanted to stay longer.

I was welcomed by very nice and friendly staff at the reception who immediately made the effort of making me feel a valued guest. I got a quiet room and was later welcomed by the Manager of the hotel, which was very nice. The curtains in the rooms open and close by push of a button and there is a tv built in bathroom mirror which makes washing a lot more fun.

I'm not sure what this hotel is striving to achieve--we stayed in the Madison Double which was a large room with high ceilings, crown moldings and huge windows (one which actually opened, which was refreshing). Bathroom was extremely tiny with shower only; however, the shower was excellent with 6 heads and rain shower fixture overhead. Carpeting was extremely dirty; maybe we got the pet-friendly room? Slippers are required wearing. Do not touch the drinks in the refrigerator or the snack bar, as you will be charged automatically. You can rent a refrigerator for a $10 charge. A coffee maker is available, but if you drink tea, bring your own teabags. The WiFi connection was excellent. There is no room or turn-down service; in fact, there is no food available within the hotel, which is rather strange if the Flatiron is striving to be a world-class hotel. However, the neighborhood is first-rate for locating good food to eat. Madison Square Park is 2 blocks away and a lovely respite from the hustle of the City. Subway lines are close by (1, N, R, 6).

awful a real emarassment .loud noisy
nothing stayed five days, room got cleaned once. live band played from 6 pm to 2 am .i was on the tenth floor. still heard the drums torture

disgusting. don't plan to have any sleep if for some reason you make the mistake for going there.
