The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were tring to find some rock bars and the receptionist rang his friend outside of the hotel to try and find us the best place to go.Did everything he could to help us.The Location was great just a couple of blocks from times square and about a 10 minute walk from central park. Large spacious rooms.
Although the rooms were large they did look a bit tired. The Air conditioning unit was not very good wasnt very warm or cold.On 14th floor but could still here alot of traffic noise from street below. Reception was quite dark and dingy
Overall a great hotel for location, only a couple of blocks from Times square and Central park and Rockefellar centar a short walk away.Bars and Restaurants can be found all around the hotel. The Hotel staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Breakfast is expensive so cheaper to just find a deli but there is a bar in hotel if you fancy a drink before you go out for dinner.

Excellent Front Desk/Concierge, Internet Access, Gift Shop, Bar, Lobby, ATM, Location, Room Quality
Flew in from Paris so was a little jaded. Check in was easy and friendly. The room was really well-appointed. Internet access was included which was a huge bonus. Location - an easy walk to Times Square. It was a really good place to get into the flow of NYC. Good people, good service.

King room was extremely spacious by NYC hotel standards, minifridge (no minibar), free internet.
No room service, not as clean as you'd hope - bathroom had long dark hairs all over when I first checked in. Maids know how to vacuum and sweep?
Enjoyed my stay, got a great deal on it. For the price, the room was huge. The bathroom was updated, but wasn't a full redo - you could tell it was improved upon. The bathroom floor had long dark hairs on it - like no one swept - when I first entered the room.
