This is a no frills hotel. Basic, but the location is wonderful. Staff is friendly. I was bothered by the fact that all breakfast items were served on plastic and/or styraform plates and cups. Such a waste and bad for the environment. I think Hampton Inn should look into a more environmentally friendly way to serve their guests like using non-disposable items (or at least paper items!)

It was ok for what it was. If you come from a 5 start somewhere else it is a bit dissapointing. after a few days you find that it actually has an OK location where you can walk (if you are youngish) to many things in lower manhatten.

We like to spend a weekend in NYC every fall. Last year we walked in SoHo and decided to stay in the area this year. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from subway station.
We enjoyed the clean room and reasonable big for NYC! Rooms are recently renewed and the furnitures as well. Breakfast is included and offers various choices. Also, you can park your car 2 streets from there and pay only 35$/day (rebate with hotel reservation proof) instead of 52$/day.

good location in Soho, very close to all shops. Good for people who want to go for a run or walk since it´s close to hudson river side with perfect inftrastructure. Good breakfast like in all Hampton Inn, real benefit for travelling in the US
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
go run on hudson river side, and run down till Liberty Island ferry
