Excellent location just nearby the Empire State Building. Hotel personnel very helpful, efficient and always kind. Price quite competitive.

Rooms indeed too small with air conditioning/heater set that is obstructing the free space around the bed on top of being quite noisy + reccurent pb with the toilets that got blocked with paper several times

Hotel 373 is definitely an hotel to recommend for the ones that are looking for very convenient location in New York city right on the 5th Avenue (just a few meters away from the Empire State Bulding) while not caring about reduced space in the room, somewhat noisy fan heater as well as lack of breafast service (yet a Starbuck coffee is located just next door). Hotel personnel is very kind and helpful.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and relatively modern rooms with ensuite

Tiny rooms, no wardrobe space

373 Fifth Avenue is a little Gem in Manhattan. Absolutely fantastic location within walking distance of pretty much all the major sites and shops. The staff were super friendly and really helpful when we had a medical emergency and needed an ambulance. The hotel concept is simple in that it has no facilities such as a restaurant/bar etc but it's attached to Starbucks and even better, right next door is an excellent cafe serving amazing breakfasts, lunches, bagels, fruit, coffees...everything! The rooms are all ensuite and very clean and modern. Flat screen TVs and IPOD docking systems are also included. The only draw back of this hotel is the size of the rooms. They are extremely small and both my partner and I found it a little difficult to manage the space with 2 big suitcases. There is no wardrobe space and only coat hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. Regardless of this fact we would definitely return to this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who is in New York to see the sights and get out and about. The time we spent in our room was minimal and so the size of the room did not spoil our stay. It's perfect for an active NYC break.

Restaurant Tip : Avoid Starbucks and head next door to the cafe on the other side. It serves great breakfasts and lunches, fresh juices, fruits, coffee and you can take a seat near the sidewalk and watch NYC go by.

Very clean, smart, stylish decor.

Very small rooms.

A real gem among the many rip-off or dodgy joints in NY. Nice touches like flat screen TVs and i pod dock - things you wouldn't expect in this price range. Would def. stay here again.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location of this hotel can't be beat at 35th and 5th ave.

The room was very small, but typical for most NYC hotels. The shower floor was flush to the bathroom floor so that the shower curtain didn't really keep water in the shower, causing a mini flood.

Overall, our stay at 373 Fifth Ave. was pleasant and the hotel fulfilled exactly what we needed it for--a clean, comfortable place to stay overnight in Manhattan. Although the room was small, the furnishings were stylish and the bed was comfy (the mini-pillows were a bit strange though). When I needed an ironing board, iron, and hair dryer, they were brought up promptly. I would stay at this hotel again for this rate.

Very clean rooms, looked newly renovated, staff very friendly and helpfull, felt safe

not much "free space" in rooms but still a good use of the space there was

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but the space is well used. I was most impressed by the cleanliness and look of the rooms. The beds were very comfortable too. The rooms look as thought they had been recently renovated. There is essentially no lobby but it makes you feel more secure because the only way to get to the rooms is by walking within four feet of the front desk! The hotel is located across the street from the Empire State building and has discount shops near by. There is a Starbucks that is right at the entrance of the hotel which is very convenient for a quick snack or coffee. We would go back to this hotel again and recommended it to friends already!

Shopping Tip : Shop next door sells I love NY tee shirts for only $1 and many more great sales. Nice food places too!

Hotel location is excellent. Range of distance to the subway station, very convenient. I saw the Empire State Building from my room.

The rooms are really small. One you open one suitcase is not enough space walk. I like to spend much on the bed. Outside the hotel and a car so violent street is very noisy. Flow of the toilet room is very bad. Shower water pressure is low.

New York, is limited because land is very expensive but unavoidable price of the hotel, however, is for the price, was not satisfied. Level is less than a business hotel in Japan. Good point, just location.

Restaurant Tip : Very tasty breakfast cafe next door.

Inside, the hotel seemed new and clean, they have rooms for non smokers

The rooms were small

The rooms were clean, but they were small. The hotel's location is very good on the 5th. Avenue, right next to the Empire State Building and Macy. There was no breakfast included in the stay, but this is not a problem with a Starbucks at the entrance to the hotel. A fine hotel, but I have stayed in hotels nearby that are cheaper and with more space.

The hotel is small, as five of 35 Avenue on the corner of the street so easy to find. Friendly customer service staff is very friendly. On the ground floor is convenient because there are Starbucks.

Poor cleaning of the room. I want to clean the floor. A down comforter is so warm, a bunch of feathers. Since the loud air conditioning in the face and lie down next to the bed, cold.

5 You can stay at an affordable price to appeal to the Street is. Enpaiyasuteitobiru 1 minute walk. Times Square is also within 5 minutes walk. Is recommended.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 1 minute walk to Enpaiyabiru, go five minutes to Times Square.
