Overall, our stay at 373 Fifth Ave. was pleasant and the hotel fulfilled exactly what we needed it for--a clean, comfortable place to stay overnight in Manhattan. Although the room was small, the furnishings were stylish and the bed was comfy (the mini-pillows were a bit strange though). When I needed an ironing board, iron, and hair dryer, they were brought up promptly. I would stay at this hotel again for this rate.
The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location of this hotel can't be beat at 35th and 5th ave.
The room was very small, but typical for most NYC hotels. The shower floor was flush to the bathroom floor so that the shower curtain didn't really keep water in the shower, causing a mini flood.
Quaint and Clean

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but the space is well used. I was most impressed by the cleanliness and look of the rooms. The beds were very comfortable too. The rooms look as thought they had been recently renovated. There is essentially no lobby but it makes you feel more secure because the only way to get to the rooms is by walking within four feet of the front desk! The hotel is located across the street from the Empire State building and has discount shops near by. There is a Starbucks that is right at the entrance of the hotel which is very convenient for a quick snack or coffee. We would go back to this hotel again and recommended it to friends already!
Very clean rooms, looked newly renovated, staff very friendly and helpfull, felt safe
not much "free space" in rooms but still a good use of the space there was
- Shopping Tip : Shop next door sells I love NY tee shirts for only $1 and many more great sales. Nice food places too!
