Nico M. Solo travelers Philippines, April 14, 2013	The best location in New York Location, proximity to Central Park, several dining/cafe options 8 Great great location in the Upper West Side. This is a much better area than the touristy midtown/Times Square where most of the five-star hotels are concentrated at. Very near the American Museum of Natural History, Central Park. The subway is just a stone's throw away, the very useful 1 line on 79th street. This also makes you feel like you are part of the Upper West Side neighborhood which is perhaps the most fab in New York!

Perfect location for central park and museums. Wonderful 24hr shopping mart right underneath for food and supplies. Only two blocks from the subway.

No closet (hooks on the wall) Lovely renovated lobby with a bar that was never open. Limited cable TV. No shuttle service and taxi from airport (JFK) cost $75 with tip) Staff was friendly and they have a very nice computer room. They can get away with mediocrity because they have a fabulous location in New York City.

Families with older children United States of America, March 26, 2013	Great value in upper west side Unique decor in the rooms, great location and super clean 9.3 Our stay at the Belleclaire exceeded our expectations--great location on Upper West side and rooms were reasonably spacious for the price. I loved the wood floors in the rooms rather than carpet and hotel was still so quiet! Staff was attentive and the rooms were incredibly clean with the thickest bath towels I have ever seen in a hotel.

Solo travelers Japan, March 07, 2013	not everyday room cleaning location 4 I was sleepy and tired,so I waked up at 2 pm.I leave room at 3pm and called to ask for room making, and front staff said OK no problem, and I left sign "Please make up my room" at door.I came back at nidnight and found no making up room.I called front but he said "There is no room service staff".& no room is left so I can't move room.

The beds were extremely comfortable, the room quiet, and the shower excellent. Our only annoyance was that the wireless in our room (720) did not work well: It would be on for a few minutes and then dropped. Fortunately our iPhone picked up the slack.

The front desk staff were very responsive and helpful. 7.3 I would go back but would ask to be moved if my room ended up being as warm as it was this time. Some of the colleagues I was with did not have the high heat problem in their rooms.
