Nice Hotel in Great Location but Poor Serivce

I booked a room for 4 persons and I was charged for the room that comes with 2 double beds. But when I arrived, I just got a very small room that has only one queen beds and is sufficient only for 2 persons. Then I asked to change the room but the staff told me that all rooms were full. I had to stay on the tiny room on that night. So unpleasant.

This is a pleasant hotel a short subway ride from Manhattan, and good value compared with Manhattan hotels. The staff were very pleasant but perhaps were overstretched, especially at breakfast (there was one morning when there was no coffee available for the 30 mins we were there and the one staff member on duty seemed to struggle to keep up).

very close to 39th ave station, safe to walk even late at night. they upgraded us to a suite room with great view of the city and with a mini kitchen. nice free breakfast (fruits, bagels, jams, yoghurt, cereals, coffee). good wifi connection. the staff were helpful. the guy managing the breakfast area is better than the other girl.

It's very cheap price and very close to subway yellow line which you can go directly to most of the NY attractions without changing to other subway line. This subway line is also 24 hr. service so you don't have to worry if you want to come back late.
The room is very clean and not too small.
Breakfast is quite limited. Nothing left much if you are late for breakfast.
I have a lot of problem with heater in the room. It's very hard to control at the temperature you needed.Blanket is extremely thin.

Very close to 39th Av. subway station (for N and Q lines). Easy to get into Manhattan in a few minutes.
Free breakfast. Good selection of foods, generally quite healthy.
Staff is super friendly. I booked with Agoda and I got my keys in less than 5 minutes after taking care of the deposit (refunded after check-out). Also was able to print my boarding pass for my return flight after I emailed a staff member. They had it taken care of in around 5 minutes.
Overall the design of the room is modern and hip. I definitely have never slept in red room before but it was not uncomfortable. The bathroom is clean with a decently sized shower.The room has mobile hanging racks and a coffee maker.
The wifi would drop me sometimes and the windows were not properly sealed. The AC was difficult to manage. Overall, I give this place a B+.

our room was great and, although situated on the third floor, had a great view of the city. the room had a king bed and a full size bed, but no nightstand or desk or chairs. the lack of outlets made charging electronics difficult. otherwise, everything seemed very new and breakfast was a great touch.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel was only 1 block from N and Q trains. Two stops to Manhattan made getting around easy.

Stayed here for one night and I wish I could stay much longer. The views from the balcony were great, and the ambiance in the room was great. It is also right next to the QN Subway line that drops you directly into midtwon Manhattan! The complimentary breakfast is however not worth it, poor options.

Staff were courteous and friendly. Place was well maintained. Free wifi. Great value for money. Away from Manhattan so the area was a lot quieter. Felt relatively safe walking from the metro back home even at night. Takes less than 5 mins to walk to metro station. Takes around 15-20 minutes to get to Manhattan.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is in an area with a lot of one way streets so just take not when taking a cab.
Not easy to get to the hotel from JFK airport with a lot of luggage. Would suggest that you take the cab. Hotel estimated the price for the cab to be $50 from the airport.
