Great location but room with lousy view

Second time staying in this hotel in the same week.
This time it wasn't as pleasant as the first.
The room I got the second time was on the 10th floor. My earlier stay was on the 36th Floor.
The room on the 10th floor doesn't have any view. I got some back lane view. The room is much smaller and looks older.
I didn't like this room at all.
Restaurant Tip:
Still think the restaurant by Todd English is excellent. Name of the restaurant is Cava and it is a must try.

Hotel with great city view
love the view from my 36th floor room. Everything in the room is good.

I arrived at midnight and checking in was a breeze.
Got to my room and was greeted by a spectacular view on the city at night.
Nice big shower in the room and the bed is heavenly especially after travelling for more than 23 hours.
Location of the hotel is good. I am within walking distance of Hard Rock Cafe New York, American Museum of Natural History and the largest mall in the world Macy. Trust me it is really huge and it took up lots of my time in there.
Restaurant Tip:
Cava the restaurant by Todd English in the hotel is a place you cannot miss. Yes, it can be pricy but it is worth it

nice view from the top, excellent and courteous staff at welcome, lobby, bell desk. restaurant had apparently not so welcoming staff. location quite easy to times square and right in the heart of things in new york

Lovely hotel with great service

Even though this hotel is on the pricier side but this is hotel is in the heart of Times Square New York. Therefore, what hotel would not be expensive in this location. Overall had a very good stay and the staffs are extremely helpful.

The Intercontinental is a great hotel and is close to everything. It is clean and tidy and the staff were more than happy to assist with any request, particulalry if you would like to go sight seeing or become a tourist (whilst on business). Highly recommend paying that little bit extra and getting a suite as it is so much larger and convenient if you plan on spending some time there
