Was unexpectedly in a wheelchair during my stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room to accommodate my wheelchair, which was helpful and unexpected. Great location!! Hotel definitely needs the renovations planned for December 2009. Room was neat, but not exactly clean. Needs better wheelchair access (ie. electric doors, direct elevator access to bottom floor without having to go through security), needs better elevator system, and could use a bar/restaurant (especially in the theater district) While the Milford Plaza Hotel has some major issues, many of them will most likely be resolved during the renovation. Great location and staff. Despite the many cons, I would happily stay there again.
Travel tip : Relatively close walk from the train or bus station makes this a perfect place to stay at a relatively good cost.

I enjoyed my time at the Milford Plaza. The rooms were very basic but it was clean and we got a good rate. Also the free breakfast is a definate plus for the hotel - all round an excellent stay, thank-you.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great location for all the broadway shows

Great Location, nice staff, room not that big but you aint in it much so is not a problem I would just like to say the milford plaza is a
very good hotel especially if you are going to new york for the first time, the location of the hotel is totally brilliant, a minutes walk from times square, a minutes walk from the start of the bus tours, i will be goin bk next year and will be goin to the milford again due to its location, the staff are also very friendly and help you find out anything you ask them with regards to where to go and what to do, but to be honest there is so much to do you will hardly be in your hotel and the location in my eyes sets the milford hotel above the rest, the money we paid was extremly good conidering it was about 100 gbp cheaper than any other.
