Room was modern, clean, comfortable and beds were perfect for a great night's sleep. I stayed in this hotel almost twenty years ago. In spite of its age the hotel remains modern and up-to-date. The i-Pod dock in the room, the sofa, and the other amenities made the room feel more like a mini suite that a hotel room. The staff were friendly, helpful, and at the same time discrete. The continental breakfast was adequate. I would most definitely stay in this hotel again but I would also like to try the other hotels in their chain just to compare.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Empire Sate Building (now the tallest building in NYC if I am not mistaken) is right around the corner!

Very nice and helpful front desk staff, spacious rooms (by NY standards), awesome restaurant (Asia de Cuba). Despite being told the rooms had been recently renovated, they were a little "worn", hallways are dark. We stayed one the after Christmas 2008. Overall it was great stay. The hotel was in a great location. The room was quite large for NY standards. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Asia de Cuba is a cool, hip restaurant, and a great place for a cocktail and tapas before a Broadway show. Would stay there again.
