I would recommend the hotel Penn because of its' convenience to Penn Station and other attractions in walking distance such as Times Square.

Since it is a big hotel they seem to have everything under control, they've handled every situation before and are well prepared.
- Restaurant Tip : Andrews coffeeshop a few blocks nearer to Times Sg. (round 37th street maybe) on 7th Ave. was great for breakfast. They have everything you want including good prices and lovely staff!

Old hotel, they are renovating the lobby though. But the rooms need an extensive renovation as well.
- Restaurant Tip : Mercato in Meatpacking and Baltazar in Soho.

The hallways stink very badly. The rooms are substandard.
- Restaurant Tip : Do not eat at the hotel's restuarant. There are many good restuarants nearby the hotel with better variety, service, and prices.
Good value for money, considering the location!!

The hotel is still recommended primarily because of the good location, especially if you are a first time traveler to New York. Very accessible to everything!!
