Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Every thing was fine except the carpets in the room were very dirty and walls could have used some touch up.

my stay was really good. my room was comfortable and cozy right on the first floor. a bit too close to the front desk but otherwise ok.
easy access to the Javits Convention Center and brisk walk to 34th and 7th

Much smaller than expected.
5.7
Cramped unfortunately. I feel it was too small for the amount of money. They should have told us that it was not appropriate for three people.

small room but clean, gem hotel also manages the comfort inn across the street. they might suggest to exchange your gem room to comfort inn room. do not do it!!! the comfort inn room are like motel 6 with much smaller room.

Nice hotel in nice place.
Staff are good and not far from Railway station
7.7
staff inside the hotel are helpful and it's close to the railway station. just about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. there are so many fast food restaurant and place for meals. also, you can just take the airtrain and mta route e to travel between jfk airport and gem hotel directly.
Shopping Tip:
You can shopping and take dinner in Times Square area under late night and still have transport back to hotel.

Not a Good Choice
Only appreciate on the WiFi Internet, very good and fast
4.7
My feel on this hotel only focusing about the room. Just TOO small which I never ever stayed. The bed was unexpected too big if comparing with the room size. I was not even able to open my suitcaseS. Working space between desk & bed only had around 2 feets wide, how can I consider the word "comfortable" if staying in this kind of compacting room.
If the room is using for a family with kid... then will be really a joke..... just forget it !!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The location of the hotel although a bit away from the hot places, but just only take around 15 mins of walk. to me - is good as I can also do the sight seeing. The most attractive area would be Times Square.

the room was really small but they provided everything that you might need. the bed was comfortable too. just that its really small. we had a challenging time opening our luggage (1 medium sized and 1 large one) as the space was really very limited. But everything else was superb.
