Randolph's was named after William Randolph Hearst, the hotel's original owner, when it was established in 1996. Its atmosphere radiates the sophisticated allure of a past era. An expanded lounge resembling a traditional bar, the restaurant was designed to closely resemble a living room, with inviting sofas, armchairs and large windows that overlook New York City's famous Avenue of the Americas, or watch the latest on the flat screen television sets.

Murals on 54, Manhattan's newest historic restaurant, is Warwick New York Hotel's recently refurbished dining room. It not only features innovative continental cuisine with international influences, but also Dean Cornwell's original historic murals, which have been completely restored.
Warwick New York features an array of food and beverage alternatives for all its guests. From the newly opened Murals on 54 and the hotel's dining room, to Randolph's Bar, the hotel's established lounge and in-room dining, servicing all guests 24 hours a day. Beautiful hotel in a great location in the city. Blocks away from Central Park, Times Square (I think that is a pro), comfortable bed. The hotel staff walked in the room 3 times during a one day stay. There is no parking available. Expensive. Warwick is a beautiful hotel in a great location. I had a pleasant stay, but there were some minor annoyances: Hotel staff walked into the room three times during the one day stay, the hair dryer was broken and they don't provide hair conditioner. The last two are very minor, but the staff walking in is a major annoyance in my opinion. The first was after we had checked in and then two times the next morning. I understand that housekeeping was seeing if they could clean, but the hotel did not provide a do not disturb sign therefore putting us in an uncomfortable situation. They did not knock either, they just walked in. When I complained at checkout, the staff member was more apologetic about the broken hair dryer then this. It was a little bizarre.
We had a "classic" room which was explained as it being the smallest room they have with no view. While that was not an appealing description, I found the room to be a nice size with a big bathroom. There was no view, but it was on the 26th floor which meant we could still see a little of the city and some of the Chrysler Building. A view is not the most important thing to me, so it did not bother me.
Valet parking is available and there is a garage across the street that cost $40 (plus tax) to house the car for 24 hours.
Overrall it was a very nice stay. The staff was very nice and friendly and the hotel is beautiful. I would probably stay in a different hotel next time so I could do a comparison.

Take Grand Central Parkway West to the Tri-Borough Bridge ($4.00 toll). From the Tri-Borough Bridge, follow the signs to the downtown FDR Drive. Exit from 53rd Street exit ramp. Make a right on 53rd Street and proceed toward the west side of Manhattan. Turn right on Sixth Avenue, which is also known as Avenue of the Americas. Make another right turn onto 54th Street. Warwick New York is located on the corner of Sixth Avenue and 54th Street on the driver's left side.
