Convenient to subway stations, restaurants, coffeeshops, other attractions; great service
Small bathroom and closet space
A clean, nice-looking hotel in a very convenient location. The staff were helpful, as they let us leave our bags in the early morning, and let us check in early when we got back there in the early afternoon. The location is great, close to several major subway lines which took us from the Bronx to Queens to Coney Island to Battery Park. As many reviews have pointed out, the rooms were small, especially the bathroom and closet, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. We were not in our room much so it was just fine.
Restaurant Tip : Just a couple of blocks away on Cornelia Street is the Pearl Oyster Bar, which had the greatest lobster roll we've ever had. At $29 it may seem a bit pricey but it is overflowing with huge chunks of lobster, and easily feeds two The shoestring fries it came with was awesome as well.
