The best thing for staying in this hotel is its location – a few blocks from subway. Room is in a small size with poor amenities provided. Early check with a request for luggage custody service is subjected to fee at 1$ per a luggage. Even it is paid service, you have to carry all your luggage around, put them into the storage room or retrieve them when the room is ready. Staffs there are just to look….not to help. Insufficient number of staffs for check-in process.

Basic, minimum requirements for one night's stay
A first-rate location for Lincoln Center!

The room was clean and it proved sufficiently quiet for a restful night's sleep.
I can't think of a location that is more convenient for one wanting to attend the Met Opera or performances at Lincoln Center.

A good option near to Broadway action ..

I've taken to stopping over in New York on a Saturday night to take in a Broadway, when traveling from Europe to the US on business. Staying at the West Side YMCA Hostel has twice now been a good experience. The Hostel is on Broadway, and a 20 minute walk, or one or two NY Metro stops, to most Broadway or Off-Broadway theaters.
Shopping Tip:
I went to New York looking for new/used CDs of Broadway musicals. The few shops I found were overpriced and understocked, nothing like Dress Circle in London, or the many used CD stores in London (or Amoeba in California). Best to use the internet!

Great location. Rooms very small and not esp comfortable, but safe and clean. Shared bathroom very poorly ventilated.
Travel tip:
The shared floor bathrooms are gross, but the pool and gym have a wonderful locker room with showers, sauna, steam, etc. If you don't mind going to the 3rd floor, you can have a nice clean shower.
