Some of the local hostels are better at half the price.

Highly recommended due to excellent location, organised approach, and security. Nice clean sheets & towels. Floor looked as though it hadn't seen a mop or vacuum in forever, but I did see cleaners at work so I think it is just old. Room quite small without view, but why go to NYC to hang about in the hotel? Bathrooms on each floor shared by all rooms, could be busy in the morning but never had to wait more than a minute or two. Didn't eat there so can't comment on food.

I would stay again because the price was wonderful and the location can't be beat--close to the park, Lincoln Center, theaters Tavern on the Green and the Met.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : close to theaters and the park Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's
