Nice hotel with poor services
close to the international airport (EWR)

The hotel is ok. There is a coffee shop and a convenient store located at ground floor.
But for the first day I checked in, I found they did not do the housekeeping, even they did not replace the clean towel.
And the facilities are quite old.
The services are not so good.
They cannot store your luggages overnight.

Nice relaxing week at Wyndham Garden, Newark
The Bar and Restaurant were excellent. Nice and relaxing and the food was great too. Perfect way to spend an evening after a busy day in Manhattan

I spent a great week at this hotel. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The bar at the hotel was superb and I spent most evenings in there after a busy day in the City. The menu was excellent. Every meal I had there was of a high standard. I recommend the T-Bone Steak for anyone visiting. The only slight issue I had was the travel to Manhattan, which tended to be either expensive or time-consuming depending on what method you choose. Great stay overall though and fantastic value for money.

Wyndham did a great job accommodating guests during a challenging situation with the Superstorm Sandy. By thinking ahead they had gas in the vans and did not have to cancel the shuttle to and from the airport, which ran on time. The hotel was very busy but we felt welcome and could not have asked for more conveniences in our room. A problem with the shower water faucet was fixed by maintenance very quickly and no guilt on our part although it was working fine when we got there. We will definitely stay there again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Early check-ins are hard to come by when the hotel is busy, but a good attitude and some patience will be rewarded by a staff that trys to please.
