holiday inn express lake buena vista
close to restaurants and bus routes

this hotel is located on the outskirts of the disneyworld area, although not within walking distance. it is a short walk to many chain restaurants, including 24 hour diners ihop and dennys.
the lynx bus passes along palm parkway, about 200 metres from the hotel. from here you can travel to the city centre, to explore or transition to other bus routes and destinations.
there is a shuttle bus service to and from epcot from the hotel, 3 times each day.
Shopping Tip:
The Premium outlets have many great shops, with equally great prices. There are two in the Orlando area, one close to the hotel and another towards Universal Studios.

Extremely disappointing service even before stay!

I had to cancel my stay due to personal exigencies and I requested thru Agoda customer representatives to contact the hotel to request for waiver of the cancellation fees. Agoda wrote to them at least 3 times and it took all that and a few phone calls to get any response from them. I will never stay in this hotel chain anymore.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Best tip - stay somewhere else.

Good location with large rooms

We stayed in a double queen room which was of a good size. The beds were very comfortable with all the basic amenities. There was also a microwave in the room which was handy as we did a couple of tours that finished late. The location was great as there were different restaurants nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
There are quite a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Olive Green is a lovely Italian restaurant located 5-10 minutes away. Cicis offer lovely pizzas and is located across from the hotel.
