Peabody Hotel Orlando (FL) Info
In the diverse and occasionally hectic destination that is Orlando, the Peabody Hotel ushers in a new order of elegant calm and omnipresent convenience. The Peabody Hotel is located in central Orlando and its rooms are luxuriously furnished as well as packed with many modern amenities. Its seemingly endless list of facilities include several restaurants and bars, numerous convention rooms, fitness center and a pool. The Peabody Hotel is perhaps most recognizable for its excellent meeting facilities, and to that end it remains an ideal destination for business travelers. Beyond that, however, the Peabody is also perfect for many other types of travelers, as it is incredibly close to Disney World, Universal Orlando and Sea World. With its diverse blend of offerings and a location that is indisputably clutch, the Peabody Hotel makes a rather convincing argument for itself.

ambiance and services excellent.staff friendly and rooms and general décor excellent
building a new hotel which meant Dux restaurant was unavailable.Noise from construction was minimal.
car park was some minutes walk away
pool area was a bit bleak and unattended
the standards of the hotel in general and the rooms in particular were of the highest order. i would highly recommend this hotel as excellent value with a suberb location.
Staff were very friendly and check-in and concierge were very helpful.
the food in the diner and the quality of goods for sale in the shops was very good.
Travel tip : shuttle bus stop right outside of hotel

Beautiful facility, extra-friendly staff
No coffee maker in the room. Coffe service offered in lobby was inadequate to handle the number of people waiting in line. Coffee service ran out prior to 8am. I asked the front desk to please consider having an additional coffee service in order to accomodate the nearly 7,000 real estate agents staying, but it was not addressed. In addition, the coffee service on another morning was so terrible by being full of coffee grounds and weak that it was undrinkable.
Beautiful facility, great friendly staff. But the costs of dining, drinks and even morning coffee were unacceptable. Morning coffee service was nearly nonexistent, and the staff ignored our requests for additional coffee service to accomodate the large number of guests who needed to be in morning sessions by 8am. No coffee service in the room.
Restaurant Tip : The new cuban restaurant, Cuba Libre, is well worth visiting in order to sample localized cuisine. Excellent service, excellent food! The Havana dancers and soloists were very entertaining as well.

great restaurants and overall a very solid hotel
my room was small and a little dated. no high speed internet in the room i was in.
I have stayed at the hotel many times over the years and it remains the best place to stay when you have convention business in the Orlando area. None of the other hotels, including the new Westin (built on the cheap, I am told) hold a candle to the Peabody. The Beeline Diner is one of my favorite "road" restaurants with excellent meals all day long -- and the best desserts you'll find.
Restaurant Tip : the restaurants in the Peabody are as good as any in the International Drive vicinity.
