The Florida Hotel and Conference Center is a 20 minute drive from the Walt Disney World Resort. The hotel is inside of a great mall, the Florida Mall. So, until 9 pm you can find almost anything in the shopping. The hotel has an ice machine on each floor, so if you want to buy stuff at the supermarket and take to the room, it`s ok. It has a bar behind the reception and a spa. Very nice to relax after the parks. I really enjoyed it.

Exellent location. Connection to the Florida Mall. beds too narrow in double bed rooms.
no balconies in any of the rooms. Stayed at the Florida Mall Hotel tvice on my last visit to the United States. We had a nice stay both times. The service was good and the staff was polite and efficient. Location is excellent. Everything you need is within a short distance. Swimming pool was very nice ( warmed up! ) although we missed bar service on pool deck.

From Orlando International Airport:
Take the North airport exit and follow signs to the Beachline* Expressway (State Road 528) west go through the first tollbooth, then take the second exit onto State Road 482 (McCoy Road). At this point this road is called McCoy Road, but the name changes to Sand Lake Road once you cross Orange Avenue. Stay on this road approximately 5 miles. At the third traffic light (Golden Sky Lane), turn left into The Florida Mall. Then follow signs to the hotel. There is Valet Parking available for a nominal charge or complimentary self-parking.
