Came to downtown Portland to enjoy the Waterfront Blues Festival as well as local neighborhoods and restaurants. The Red Lion Inn was well situated in the middle of it all. No more than a few minutes from any place we wanted to go. An unexpected advantage was the free trolley car ride available within the downtown area. We took advantage of this several times to avoid the hassles of parking downtown.
