Nice pool facilities

Hotel lay-out; helpfulness of staff, parking charges and a broken door

The hotel is definitely nice in a nice city. Before me a man checked in but was told the hotel was overbooked and he had been rebooked. the boy who said this was smug - should have been fired. The hotel charged 12 dollar a night for parking - not necessary at all and just a rip off. The bath room door in the room was broken. All small things but they add up to some frustration in what should be trouble free and was not cheap.

This older property keeps its face pretty and employs great staff. On-site parking is a bit of a bite with a daily charge of $12, but its availability beats cab fare.

Shopping Tip : Fashion Valley's mall with Bloomingdales & Nordstroms is only a brisk walk away for the hearty, or a few minutes via a local sidestreet for those who need to save their energy for the shopping aisles.
