The hotel was very well presented and the staff were always so helpful whenever there was anything we needed. Friendly and smilling at all times. Hotels room was very well presented and i think the ipod connection to the clock radio is a very simple but effective accessory to the bedroom!!!! Did not have anything to say negatively. The adagio is a very well presented and modern hotel that is within a 2 min walk of Union Square. All staff are so helpful and always on hand to help with what problem you have while staying. The hotel rooms is cosy and has very useful accessories such as free WIFI and Ipod clock radio to ensure that while in room you can easilt connect your Ipod to chill out or get in the mood for a night out. This hotel is highly recommended as is the Bar SWIG across the street.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Alcatraz is an amazing sight to see and i would recommend it highly, you need to book to ensure your not disappointed and if you book early enough i would suggest doing the evening tour.

The room was nice and it was located near downtown SF. I expected a better hotel for the price. The room was ok and the location was ok but I felt that for the price the hotel should have been nicer.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and in most ways the Adagio, San Francisco provides a pleasant retreat from the busy city streets just outside its doors. The service sometimes slips but overall the hotel is a good value for the money.

Take Highway 101 North and exit towards Bay Bridge. Take the 4th St/Last SF Exit and you will be on Bryant Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street, cross over Market Street and veer right; 3rd Street turns into Kearny Street. Turn left onto Geary Street. Hotel Adagio is located on the right between Taylor and Jones Streets.
From the North (Marin, Napa/Sonoma, San Rafael):
Take Highway 101 South, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and exit at Marina Boulevard. Turn right onto Laguna Street, left onto Post Street, right onto Mason Street and right again onto Geary Street. Hotel Adagio is located on the right between Taylor and Jones Streets. (Note: There is a $5.00 toll to cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco.)
From the East Bay (Berkeley, Oakland):
Take I-80 West towards Bay Bridge/San Francisco and exit at Fremont Street. Turn left onto Fremont Street, left onto Howard Street then right onto 3rd Street. Cross over Market Street and veer right; 3rd Street turns into Kearny Street. Turn left onto Geary Street. Hotel Adagio is located on the right between Taylor and Jones Streets. (Note: There is a $3.00 toll to cross the Bay Bridge into San Francisco.)
