|

Living Room
Quiet and cozy, the Living Room is the perfect perch from which to read, relax or people-watch in the lobby beyond.

Meetings & Events
Clift’s stylishly appointed Meeting Rooms are an ideal alternative to the typically staid conference room. On the Mezzanine level, three stunning rooms featuring dramatic white velvet curtains, etched Venetian mirrors and Philippe Starck's modern interpretation of classic banquet furniture are available for meetings & events.
|

Guest Room
Guest rooms are generously proportioned and elegantly decorated with luxurious fabrics – silks, leathers and velvets, all in tranquil shades – ivories, greys and lavenders, which combine to create an effect that is richly layered and sophisticated. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors on opposite walls create a soothing 'infinity effect' and reflect the rosy Bay Area light.
|

Guest Room
The rooms’ beautifully crafted and detailed furniture include a massive English sycamore custom sleigh bed positioned on a polished chrome base, and, inspired by the legendary artist Man
Ray, a wood chair in the form of a wheelbarrow that is covered in a violet-colored custom Italian fabric typically used for handbags and sportswear by high fashion houses. The chair forms a harmonious vignette with a nearby standing lamp and custom metallic “pod” side table.

Food, Drink and Entertainment
Redwood Room Clift's famous and historic Redwood Room has been restored and reinvented as an exceptionally elegant and modern space. Suffused with all-out glamour, the interior features the original redwood paneling and enormous bar, which, legend has, was carved from a single redwood tree, as well as Starck-designed lounge furniture and an ever-changing array of digital artwork displayed on plasma television screens hung throughout the room. A cherished San Francisco landmark, the Redwood Room is back and better than ever.
Asia De Cuba The San Francisco outpost of Jeffrey Chodorow’s acclaimed Asia de Cuba restaurant has been designed to complement the legendary glamour of the Redwood Room. The renowned and innovative Asian-Latin cuisine is served in an atmosphere of unabashed glamour: lush silk curtains, mahogany and leather banquettes, hand-blown Murano glass lamps, and a spectacular cross-shaped and illuminated communal dining table made entirely of hand-etched Venetian mirror.

Great concierge, customer service, great bar scene, great restaurant(Asia de Cuba).
The walls between the rooms are pretty thin - I could hear conversation and TV from the room next door to us.
This is my absolute favorite hotel in San Francisco. We asked for an upgrade upon check-in and were promptly accommodated. The rooms are a nice size and well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. We ate at the hotel restaurant, Asia de Cuba, which was fantastic (though a little pricey). I would definitely also recommend checking out the bar (The Redwood Room) - good crowd and tasty cocktails. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone look for a fun, classy, hip place to stay in San Francisco!

5 mins from Union Square (the city centre for SF). the service is just excellent.very cool and retro interior. They have a bar/lounge that is really cool and very happening at night. I highly recommend for hotel guest to check it out. i really love their bedding. they use very high thread bedding made from 100% egyptian cotton (we ask the front desk)
rooms are a bit small, but for the sanfransisco standard its very acceptable. Im not complaining about the size though, because it is very worth the money that you pay for
this hotel belong to the hard rock hotel people, so you can't go wrong with this one. very chic hotel with service that is friendly and very helpful. they were wearing their uniform that says recessison. for a second i thought its says recession, but its actually is "recess is on". very cool touch. The location of this hotel is one the best in the city. the rooms are nice and had a chic feel. the bedding are excellent. We love it so much that we ask the front desk where we could get one!
Nightlife Tip : i highly recomeend for all guest in this hotel to check out their bar/lounge called the redwood room. even if you are not staying in this hotel, still its good to check it out

verry clean exlent staff . verry atentious at the fromt desk special mr. david
the hotel does NOT have a good signal or name
on front of it.
easy to pass by, specially if is night.
the hotel is excellent clean good staff very pleasant .
elevator is a little bit too dark .
room was clean and smell good they really vacuum every day again very good staff .
as a suggestion for the larger rooms like mine it should have at least two stools to put luggage on top. i only had one on my room
the other big problem is that at night there is a lot of homeless and vagabonds around kind of dangerous and very unconformable .
special if most of your guest like me have to park the car and walk to the hotel .
i really think whit all the good hotel, art gallery restaurants in this area something meeds to be done .
it's sad to see this area like it becoming
all the business in this area should lobby for the better of it.
Nightlife Tip : all the business in the area have to get together to lobby and clean the area
too much homeless ,vagabonds and other undesirables at night very bad.
shame that this is happening now
