Our stay at the Intercontinental was great, however the only bad thing about them is that despite being a 4-star hotel, they still charge $15/day for internet access. Their minibar/fridge is kind of overkill as well; automatically charging you even if you just opened the fridge to take a peek.

Two nights stay for a conference. Exceptionally comfortable bed. WiFi in room did not work at first, despite being ridiculously expensive and not included in the very expensive base price of the room. Great view from corner room on 29th floor

Mel Drive Cafe about 5 min walk is a good choice for breakfast

5 Star staff that are highly trained, courteous and take pride in their work and company. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Great city view and the glass wall that was the window really added to the ambiance.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just 2 blocks from the BART station and everywhere is a quick taxi ride away.

Close to the action and great restaurant. Super high valet parking charges (use carpark behind hotel). High internet charges. One block away from the shopping and about a 5 - 10 minute walk to Union Square.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Grab an internet code from the bar when ordering a drink to avoid the high daily rates.
