Very impressed when the porters brought scales into the foyer of the hotel to weigh each of our suitcases to make sure they were under the airline limit. Really helpful staff.
- Shopping Tip : Ross Department Store is a few doors down from the hotel. It sells designer clothing, handbags, luggage, childrenswear, homewares, shoes, etc. and at very low prices. Also, go to Shoe Pavillion and DWS Shoes for designer shoes.

The hotel is perfectly located in downtown San Francisco. It is close enough to everything that we were able to walk to most of the hot spots in down town San Francisco. There are a fair amount of bums in that area that could put you off if you are not used to that type of thing.
