Nice Hotel. Confusing Pre-Pay System
Convient to where I was going, relatively close to BART, reasonable price for central San Francisco

The hotel was very nice. There was confusion on check-in about the reservation. It seems as if Agoda had not properly gotten it into the hotel system. The desk clerk managed to get me checked in without any significant problem. Even though I gave them the voucher from Agoda, they ended up charging my credit card again. They said they will refund the charge, but I have not yet seend that refund on the credit card account. I tend to think the prolem is more with Agoda than the Oasis itself and probably will not use Agoda again, though I would stay at the Oasis again if I had reason to be there and would just book directly with the hotel.

So dangerous area with many homeless

I travelled with my colleague for business trip, this is our first time in San Francisco. We choosed this hotel because it close to BART Civic Center station about 20 mins walking. We arrived San Francisco in the night and we walked from BART station to the hotel. It was so dangerous to walk in the night because there are many homeless on the street. When we arrived at the hotel's reception, there was a homeless tried to climb up to balcony on the second floor but he fell down. The room is ok match with the price. They have free wireless internet but it always not working. The reception is not helpful.
Shopping Tip:
Union Square is the best place for shopping in downtown.
