Close to everything in town Had a very warm welcome from reception at check in
and were offered loads of good advice about San Francisco.
Room was very comfortable and spacious and the toiletries were more than adequate.
On the down side was the ability to run up a big bill in the bar as prices are a little high.
However a great hotel and I would happily stay again.
Restaurant Tip : The House of NanKing in Chinatown. You will probably have to queue outside for 5 minutes but well worth the wait

Excellent location. Friendly staff. The Omni San Francisco is an excellent hotel situated in an ideal location a few blocks from Union Square and close to the Ferry Port and tram to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very comfortable and had the feel of an upmarket hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and I must say the bed was perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! I will certainly stay in the Omni again if I'm ever back in San Francisco!
Restaurant Tip : Dotties True Blue Cafe on Jones Street. It does the best breakfasts in San Francisco. There may be up to an hour wait for a table but believe me, it's worth it!

Clean, quiet, respectful staff. This was the second time I have stayed at the Omni Hotel. Just like last time the stay was very comfortable and brief. The purpose was business and I was alone so there wasn't much time to try all the amenities. I would recommend this hotel as well as the chain.

Very well located, excellent service, clean large rooms no wireless internet in the room It was a great experience overall. Helpful polite staff was always available. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel was in the perfect location and it was close to everything. It is a good hotel for business travelers. It is walking to distance to main attractions and also it is conveniently located close to public transportation.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk to the fisherman's wharf. It is a nice pleasant walk to experience the city

good service; great location very expensive parking fees The hotel's location is very central and within easy walking distance of many of the key city attractions. Hotel is elegant and staff were good. Parking fees are extremely expensive for those that choose to bring their own car to the city as we did.

The Cable car stopped right outside our hotel.
There were alot of fine restraunts with in walking distance. A Cab trip to the Theatre was very reasonable.The staff at the Omni were very helpful and knowledgable.

Very Good Service. Elegant Hotel. Great Location. Clean. Parking is very expensive at the hotel. We were able to park for $12 a day at 550 California (this is the weekend rate). Our overall stay was great. We enjoyed the hotels proximity to EVERYTHING. You can literally walk to Union Square in less than 10 minutes. If you're not much a walker, there are plenty of other transportation options (taxis, buses). The hotel staff was very congenial. I would recommend the Omni to others!

Nice front lobby with beautiful staircase -- perfect for taking pictures with your bridal party. Tall ceilings and nice fixtures. No self-parking, only valet -- a bit expensive. I stayed here with my bridesmaids and then the next night for my wedding night. It was perfect! For a hotel in downtown San Francisco, it was luxurious but was not over the top expensive, so I definitely felt that I got more than what I paid for. The bed, linen, pillows etc. were all what you'd expect from a high-end hotel.

Location, cleanliness, knowledge and friendliness of staff and very accommodating.
Hotel is just outside of the super-busy streets yet very close to Union Square, Chinatown and other sight-seeing attractions.
Internet is also a small fee - I would have thought this might be complimentary (although we received it free of charge during our stay).
Dislike - cost of valeting a car is pricey ($48) a day. The valet person did present other alternatives and just 1.5 blocks up there was overnight parking for $7 a day (during weekends). This hotel was my first time staying here and it was great. The staff remembered us whenever we left and returned. Before I would even attempt to walk back into the hotel, they knew I was staying there and opened up the doors for us.
Very accommodating staff that always presented different ways to get around the city when one didn't seem very appealing.
Hotel is very clean and well kept, but I think the staff made it for us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel is in California, right along the cable car a must if you have never done it. Concierge was very helpful in providing all the vital information and always offered alternative methods to get to our destination.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Room was clean. Location is good. Valet parking is $50 per day. But to be fair, this is typical in San Francisco. We only stayed at the Omni one night and did not make use of the dining, room service, workout or pool facilities. We found the staff (bellman and front desk) extremely helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and were very helpful in checking flight status and providing driving directions to the airport. We stayed in a regular King room on the 8th floor. It was clean and quiet, it was also big by San Francisco standards. With the rate we got on Agoda I consider it an excellent deal and would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are flying in from out of town don't rent a car. It is extremely difficult/stressful to drive in San Francisco, there is never any parking and the parking fees at all the hotels are very high. You are much better off taking public transportation, taxis, etc.

Friendly service. Close to major attractions of the city. Our stay at the Omni hotel was overall a great experience. We enjoyed the hospitality and the size of the room. The hotel was also located in a very good area, close to the many attractions in the city. The check in and check out process was also very easy. We enjoyed our stay at the Omni hotel and would recommend coming back. It had a very traditional feel to the hotel.
